What have you been doing in the last 50 Years?
Upon graduation from Arlington Heights, I joined the Marine Corps in 1969. I spent eight years on active duty, and two years in the Reserve. I had tours in Vietnam and Okinawa. I enrolled in St. Petersburg Junior College in 1977 and graduated in 1978. I then enrolled in the University of South Florida and graduated with a BA (Criminal Justice) in 1980. I was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the US Army as a Field Artillery officer. I retired from the Army as a Major in 1993. Subsequently went to the middle east and worked for the US Govt for several years as a contractor, then became a Civil Servant in the Intelligence Community in 1999. Received a MA from the University of Oklahoma in 2003 (International Relations). I am now retired from the Defense Intelligence Agency with one tour to Kosovo, and five tours in Afghanistan. I live with my wife Margaret in Kilkenny County Ireland, but have recently purchased a home in Holly Lake Ranch, Texas to reside in the winter.
