A Celebration of Karen Ann Sarver’s Life, age 66 of Jasper, will be 11:00am Saturday, December 10, 2016, at Bishop’s Chapel Church. There will be a gathering of friends and family from 10:00am until service time at the church.
Karen died at Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital, December 7,2016. A native and longtime Jasper resident, she was a teacher with the Jasper ISD and enjoyed serving others. She loved her family and really loved being a grandmother.
Karen was survived by her mother, Betty Lloyd of Jasper; her husband of 21 years Dirk Sarver of Jasper; six daughters, Tammy Mouton of Marietta, Georgia, Christine Harmon of Baytown, Texas, Patricia Butler of Sulphur, Louisiana, Rachel Sarver of Rockport, Texas, Erica Sarver of Jasper, and Tonja Sarver of The Woodlands, Texas; three sons, Michael Sarver and Christopher Sarver, both of Jasper, and Aaron Sarver of The Woodlands, Texas; one brother, David Prewitt of Burleson, Texas; and twenty-three grandchildren.
