Susan Jones (Hunter)  died April 17, 2020

HUNTER, Susan Jones Hunter of Plano, Texas passed away on April 17 at the age of 69 from complications of lung cancer. She was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas where she attended Arlington Heights high school. She graduated from the University of Arkansas. After a few years as a school teacher, she began her career as a flight attendant with American Airlines. She worked there until her retirement. Early in life, Susan met the man of her dreams Jim Hunter. They were later married and celebrated 28 years of marriage until his passing in 2019. She adored dogs, cooking, travelling (especially cruises) and partying with her girlfriends. Susan will be remembered for her love of life, outgoing personality and being a wonderful friend. She will be deeply missed by many but never forgotten. Survivors include her step daughter Kim Streeter and her husband Pat and their children, her dogs Penny and Jack and a wide circle of close friends. She was predeceased by her mother and step father Hazel and Irley Bonnett and father Kent Jones. A special thank you to her caregivers and friends Alma Cabrero and Reina Douglas. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date when gathering restrictions are lifted. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
